What To Expect From Sessions

“Feeling safe is an essential component of the healing process.” - Stephen W. Porges, The Pocket Guide to the Polyvagal Theory

Sessions are 45-60 minutes in length, clients remain fully clothed. Clients may sit in a comfortable supported position or rest on a treatment table, depending on their preference. Clients may talk or remain quiet.
Priority is focused on ensuring treatment is safe and will foster the desired results.

Online Sessions:

Online sessions are offered online via Zoom video conference. Speaking in soft tones Naomi uses her voice throughout the session rather than her hands, letting the client know where focus is being placed. Most clients find this as effective as in-person sessions. and it allows access to sessions no matter where clients are located.

The intention of touch without touching makes remote sessions possible.

Is This Right for You?

Do you believe there is a way through or out of your current situation? Have you tried other types of treatment and still feel stuck? Are you tired of talking about issues and noticing little positive change?

The somatic therapy of Transforming Touch® provides support for your nervous system so it can process and recover from past experiences. This eases tension and improves your ability to experience the present moment. This work is based on the belief that each person’s own body and nervous system has the capacity and an innate tendency towards healing.

Issues that can benefit from this work are:

Trauma: In utero/prenatal trauma, early childhood trauma, historical trauma, intergenerational trauma, medical trauma, shock trauma, and post-traumatic-stress disorder (PTSD)

Emotional Distress: Anxiety, depression, loneliness, fear, anger, ADHD, and relationship difficulties

Physical Imbalances: Chronic pain, insomnia, and excessive reliance on substances to get through the day

“Trauma is a fact of life but it doesn’t have to be a life sentence.”
